Price Compression has arrived in New York. But surely in the highly coveted New York city boroughs pricing is holding up? Not so fast. Looking Lit Alerts average menu price data for an eighth of cannabis flower in New York City, pricing dropped across all five boroughs between April 2025 and October 2025.

The Bronx is running the lowest average price reaching $37.30 recently however they have experienced the lowest percentage decrease in the same period at roughly 3% compression.

Staten Island consistently had the highest average price in both periods, currently the only borough sitting above $40 for an eighth.

Queens is holding stronger than Manhattan and Brooklyn who have experienced the highest pricing compression at roughly 7%. Queens has only contracted 4.5% in the last 6 months and now finds itself close to parity with Manhattan and Brooklyn.
