Access to the Lit Alerts API has been the most requested ask from our customers in 2026. This is very exciting and validating for how we are planning to change our business over the next 12-18 months. The hypothesis – Subscribing to one size fits all data solutions is fading fast. Subscribing to cleaned, enriched data signals are the future. Give your users the inputs they need, let them build. For a long time we have rejected the idea that a company like Lit Alerts can build every visualization, interface or analysis that our customers desire. Heck, even products like PowerBI, Looker, Tableau etc. have these issues, I don’t know why we would think we could do it given the resource gap. The visualizations, interfaces and analyses we build service the broadest needs of our customers (e.g. out of stock alerts, pricing comparisons, distribution maps, etc.) But if you want to combine this data with your inventory data, ERP data, finance data, CRM, etc. you use our API. Our team supports you in your build and we make the updates you need to the structured data you use to build your application. Some of our customers have shown us what they’ve built and it’s some of the most enjoyable customer meetings we have. Seeing the Lit Alerts data being used in ways we couldn’t imagine ourselves is energizing. Some of our customers won’t show us what they’ve built because they view it as a competitive edge and they don’t want us to get any ideas We love this.
